The Spirit of ’45 Day, is a national holiday observed annually on the second week of August to commemorate the end of World War II and the service and sacrifice made by the Greatest Generation. We recognize the cost of freedom, as of the 16 million Americans who served during WWII, only 1% remain with us, as of 2024.

In partnership with Dream Flights, each year we honor our senior veterans with complimentary flights in restored WWII-era Boeing Stearman biplanes. Join our Spirit of ’45 to honor the sacrifice and service of all our military heroes with an all-American-style picnic lunch, inspirational ceremonies, and live music performances.
